Raja Rajeswari, the presiding deity of the Sri Chakra, embodies love and grace. She is the Divine force that creates and merges the universe back into Brahman (the Supreme Being). This dual desire forms the bond between Creator and creation, driving all existence. She governs the mind and senses, holding the key to transcendental knowledge.
Residing in the Sahasrara and Swadhisthana chakras, she is depicted with four hands and three eyes. Her hands hold the noose (representing determination and love), the goad (symbolizing knowledge and fiery emotion), the sugar-cane bow (depicting the human mind), and five-flowered arrows (the elements’ essence). Her eyes represent the Sun, Moon, and Fire—symbols of creation’s triads.
Raja Rajeswari manifests in three forms: physical (sthula sharira), subtle (sukshma sharira), and causal, encompassing both macrocosm and microcosm. Through meditation in the lower chakras, the aspirant invokes her as Kundalini, the supreme power that elevates and transforms. The Divine Mother removes evil, fosters goodness, and is the embodiment of Brahman’s bliss: “Sat-Chit-Ananda” (existence, knowledge, and bliss).
